Morning Has a Face

€96.00

It’s a portrait, but instead of painting a person, I wanted to paint the sun. I was curious what a sunrise might look like if it had a face - soft, quiet, and just waking up. Not bright or overwhelming yet, but calm and present.

The portrait feels like that moment in the morning when the light first enters the room, and everything is still a bit tender. It’s less about realism and more about feeling; the warmth, softness, and quiet promise of a new day beginning.

Medium: Oil Pastel on Paper
Size: A5 14.8 × 21.0 cm (5.83 × 8.27 in)
Signed on Back
