Morning Roses

€96.00

The painting shows three roses that are slightly wilted, but still painted in vivid, expressive colors. They’re part of my “Pretty Dead Flowers,” a motif I created and keep returning to in my works. To me, these flowers represent mental health. Even when they’re past their bloom, they’re still beautiful and still matter.

The roses are a reminder that you don’t stop having value just because you’re tired, fragile, or not at your best. Beauty doesn’t disappear - it just changes.

Medium: Oil Pastel on Paper
Size: A5 14.8 × 21.0 cm (5.83 × 8.27 in)
Signed on Back
FRAME INCLUDED

This piece is part of my Morning Sketch Series - little paintings I make while sipping my morning coffee.
