This piece is part of my Morning Sketch Series, little paintings I make while having my coffee, before the day really starts.
I didn’t plan much for this one; I just saw how the light hit the building and grabbed my pastels. The colors felt alive: pinks, yellows, bits of violet sneaking into the shadows. It’s less about perfection and more about that quick, honest moment.
